Soaring Phoenix was co-founded by two community-rooted leaders deeply committed to addressing how systemic racism and other forms of injustice affect the daily lives of Black and Brown families and other marginalized communities. The vision for the organization was shaped by lived experiences with poverty, housing instability, and inequities in education, particularly in reading and math.
